Assistant Director/Dean of Students for Logic School culture and character
The assistant director is charged with collaborating with faculty, students and parents to craft a vibrant, unified, winsome, and joyful culture for the newly formed Grades 6-8 Logic (Middle) School, drawing on traditions and cultural distinctives pre-existing in the former lower Logic School (grades 5-6) and upper Logic (grades 7 – 8), and consistent with the K-12 whole-school culture and mission.

He or she will have responsibility for supporting Logic School teachers with character-forming strategies, for planning and overseeing Logic School chapel, and for maintaining division-wide discipline (Discipleship) in the spirit of responsible accountability seasoned with grace.  A deep understanding of and experience with middle grades students and demonstrated success in guiding this age group in spiritual and character formation are essential.  It is desired that the person chosen for this responsibility will be adept at leading students and staff alike to “lean into” a life of authentic Christian faith through winsome encouragement and by an example of humility.  Knowledge of the Scriptures and seamless integration of biblical principles into daily life is expected. CLICK ON TITLE FOR MORE DETAILS.

Technology Manager
The Covenant School is seeking a Technology Manager is to provide leadership and assume management responsibility for the direction, coordination, integration, and implementation of technology across all school buildings and departments. The Technology Manager will be responsible for planning, purchasing, installing and maintaining physical technology systems in a condition of excellence enabling full educational use of technology at all times. This is a hands-­on position with responsibilities that range from strategic and long-range planning and implementation of system­wide technology solutions, to providing one-­on­-one, and group training and support. Grammar School Teachers

Division: Grammar School (1-5)

The Covenant School of Dallas, a classical, Christ-centered school, seeks full-time teachers for the 2019-2020 academic year. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in elementary education, along with a valid Texas state teaching certificate. Ideally, we are looking for someone with classroom experience and knowledge of Classical Christian and Charlotte Mason pedagogy.  The candidate should be a mature Christian committed to lifelong learning and professional development, eager to nurture and inspire our students, and desire to work with a dedicated staff of administrators and teachers.

Rhetoric School Openings

Epic Literature English teacher
Currently enrolling 625 students (K – 12th) in 2018-19, The Covenant School is seeking a Rhetoric School (9-12) Epic Literature English teacher for the 2019-20 school year. Candidates should have an understanding of classical Christian educational philosophy, a love for teaching and for students, an appreciation of the Covenant mission, and must personally embrace our statement of faith. Art Teacher

Science Teacher
The Covenant School is seeking a full-time, experienced Rhetoric School science teacher beginning in the fall of 2019. Candidates should have an understanding of classical Christian educational philosophy, a love for teaching and for students, an appreciation of the Covenant mission, and must personally embrace our statement of faith.  Responsibilities will include teaching four sections of science, serving as an advisor, and participating as needed in the co-curricular life of the school. 

  • The ideal candidate will possess most or all of these qualifications:

Ability to teach high school science courses, with specific expertise in Chemistry and Biology, up to and including the Advanced Placement level

A post-secondary degree in science or a related field

Experience in employing a variety of pedagogical approaches to reach different learning styles

Interest in using technology thoughtfully and creatively to enhance teaching and learning

Flexibility and collaborative spirit in working with department members and colleagues across disciplines
