Biography

Conamore Alexander graduated from The Cooper Union in New York City in 2004. While attending The Cooper Union she studied under renowned Architects and Artists, graduating with a professional 5 year Bachelor of Architecture degree. It was here she became passionate about creating meaningful Artwork and Architecture, with exceptional craftsmanship.

Born and raised on Martha’s Vineyard Island, Conamore interned with and was influenced by several Island artists before heading to university in NYC. The island is where her love of painting landscapes began. In addition to being a Fine Artist, Conamore is a licensed Architect. Her professional skill set has been developed through years of working in architecture firms for high profile clients, and large owners across the country. Her Architectural project experience ranges from Smithsonian Museum renovations in Washington DC, to state of the art Equestrian training facilities, and award winning custom homes.

In 2022 Conamore served as the Artist-in-Residence at Children’s Health. In this role she created a body of work, 17 large figurative oil paintings, that captures the mission and impact of Children’s Health. The paintings are installed in the hospital corporate suites, reminding the team of the joy and miracles that happen at the hospital bedside daily.

With a heart to build up and encourage the next generation, in 2019 Conamore put together a team to launch GOOD REINS, an Equestrian & Fine Art Ministry. GOOD REINS is a Texas Nonprofit corporation charged with the mission of ‘Growing Students’ Confidence & Faith.’
